The renovation of an existing day care playground involved working with the existing topography to develop a series of stepping planes where children can move safely throughout the play area.

With an emphasis on using the entire play ground and not just a single focussed play structure or element, the children explore and play in every inch of the space.

The play elements are numerous: sand play, nature trail, water spout, trike track, game area, stick forest, rolling mound are just a few of the elements, all dressed in a compelling mix of vibrant colour against natural wood elements.
